Answer: After his first visit the lawyer was much impressed by Lutkins and all other people of New Mullion. He found them very helpful, simple and loving. But on his second visit he was totally disillusioned when he saw that the hack driver was himself Oliver Lutkins. He found them no more truthful and simple. He found them very cunning. I think he surely shall have given up the idea of practicing law at New Mullion.
