Answer: Books are called man’s best companion. They are our true friends. They never betray us. A good book is just like a good friend. Like a true friend, a good book cheers us as well as comforts us. My favourite book is The Gita. It is part of the Mahabharta. It is the discourse given by Lord Krishna to Arjuna on the battlefield of Mahabharta. It is full of wisdom. It tells us we should not be afraid of anything. This body is only a garment worn by the soul. When this garment is worn out, the soul wears another one. Soul is immortal and indestructible. Then why should we worry. Secondly, it gives the theory of karma. It tells us that our duty is to do our work. We should not worry about the results of our actions. God rewards us according to our actions.
