Answer: When the author reached the airport, the aircraft was waiting to take off. He rushed in. He covered the place near his seat with newspaper. He gave the parcel of fish to the air hostess for the otter. She cooperated with the author and advised him to keep the pet on his knee. But soon Mij was out of the box. He disappeared very soon.

Suddenly, there was chaos in the plane. There were squawks and shrieks all around. A woman cried, “Arat, arat!” The author saw the otter beneath the legs of an Indian. When he tried to catch the otter, his face got covered in curry. The air hostess assured him that she would find the otter. The author returned to his seat. After sometime, the otter came to him and sat in his lap.

(जब लेखक हवाई अड्डे पहुँचा, जहाज उड़ान की प्रतीक्षा कर रहा था। वह भागकर अंदर गया। उसने अपनी सीट के पास फर्श को अखबार के साथ ढक लिया। उसने ऊदबिलाव के लिए मछलियों के डिब्बे को परिचारिका को दे दिया। उसने लेखक के साथ सहयोग किया और उसे सुझाव दिया कि वह डिब्बे को अपने घुटनों के ऊपर रख ले। लेकिन शीघ्र ही मिज डिब्बे से बाहर था। शीघ्र ही वह ओझल हो गया।

अचानक ही, यान में अफरा-तफरी फैल गई। चारों ओर चीखने-चिल्लाने की आवाजें आ रही थीं। एक महिला ने चीख मारी, “चूहा, चूहा!” लेखक ने ऊदबिलाव को एक भारतीय की टाँगों के नीचे देखा। जब उसने ऊदबिलाव को पकड़ने का प्रयास किया, तो उसका चेहरा सब्जी से सन गया। परिचारिका ने उसे विश्वास दिलाया कि वह ऊदबिलाव को पकड़ लेगी। लेखक अपनी सीट पर लौट आया। थोड़ी देर बाद ऊदबिलाव उसके पास आया और उसकी गोद में बैठ गया।)
